Memorial to the victims of the 1986 earthquakes

The sculpture is a work of speech and a monument of journalism, as it is developed based on the newspaper headlines that were published in the period immediately after the 1986 earthquake, which describe the tragic event and its consequences.
On both sides of the work, the words of the text are engraved in relief, which in combination with the historical events the viewer recalls and creates images of that period in his mind. The text functions mainly as a carrier of factual information and is as follows:
